When I heard and read that the USA has declared a new set of economic sanctions upon Iran which was emphasized by President Donald Trump as the highest economic war ever targeted at any nation; my immediate reaction was a very loud laughter, followed by a question; who and who will join the USA to enforce such sanctions to make it effective? In the era when the United States has not degenerated into a rogue State that is launching war from one country to another, kidnapping a seating President in a criminal enterprise, seizing or threatening to seize territories that belong to allies and launching unprovoked war on Iran without consideration for international laws,norms,conventions and charters ,such sanctions could have been fearful,and more honored amongst Nations but not anymore!
In the first place, after the unthoughtful and unprovoked military attacks on Iran and the demystification of the USA military by the Iranian powerful and resilient military and IRGC ; in the war that is still ongoing,in which the USA has suffered great setback and defeat; hardly do any responsible nation particularly the powerful ones want to identify with the USA recklessness let alone join her to enforce sanctions. Less than 24 hours after I espoused this opinion, The great Nation of China totally rejected the sanctions and vow to continue normal trading with Iran. You know what that means. Russia will follow suit, Brazil and others including India will not go with Washington.
Secondly , the world has changed drastically and a multipolar world has caught up with the USA in a manner Washington is unprepared for. With BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Iran being a member and a very strategic one cannot be sanctioned effectively any longer.
Don’t forget that Iran has been so accustomed to the USA and allies despicable economic sanctions for going to 48 years without blinking. Iran also grew out of those sanctions and other threatening adversities orchestrated by Washington and Rothschild Israel to become the most sophisticated technological and scientific hub in the Persian Gulf and Arabian peninsula,the most formidable military might and capabilities in the region with over 95% being home grown.A great and self reliant nation in almost all fields including Space Technology. That is why this latest resort of the USA to economic sanctions is laughable and a mockery of the instrumentality of sanctions; moreso because this sanctions is coming after the USA suffered one of her greatest defeats ever in a war with Iran. This particular sanction seems like a face saving antique rather than what is truly believed by even the USA that is mouthing it.
Meanwhile,why go into war if you know there was still room for sanctions, negotiations and concessions. The USA is stocked in a war he was not adequately prepared for and in frustration only resorted to these so called sanctions but this again has failed before the pronouncement. Iran is not Venezuela!!!
Let me reassure all lovers of Iran who detest global hegemony and ungodly oppression and injustice that this so called “Crushing Sanctions” will definitely fail just the way the military campaign arrogantly titled “Epic Fury ” failed miserably; putting Donald Trump in his greatest ever frustration. Yes !! Iran is not Venezuela!!!
