The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has explained why the party is backing an automatic ticket for Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s second term bid, citing her “rare achievements” in just two years at the Senate.

Speaking at a party event held in Okene, Hon. Gambo described Sen. Natasha as “a pride to representation” and “a symbol of effective representation” in the Central Senatorial District.

“If in just two years she could pull surprises with her legislative service, I urge the people to stand solidly behind her,” the Chairman said.

Gambo stated that Sen. Natasha “remains a winning team you don’t change” insisted her re-election bid could see her emerge as a principal officer in the Senate.

The PDP Chairman urged other lawmakers to emulate her “sterling qualities, very rare to come by.”

He added that a vote for Sen. Natasha “is a vote for the less privileged, orphans, women development,” laud her for bringing “integrity and sincerity to bear in her representation.”

“A vote for Sen. Natasha is a vote for integrity,” Gambo said. “She is a winning team, you don’t change,” he said.

Calling on the people of Kogi Central to support her comeback bid, the Chairman stressed that her performance has set a new standard for legislative service in the district since 1999.
