Iran is reportedly developing a secret weapon whose effects are said to be far more devastating than nuclear arms. This ultimate capability is claimed to be deployed if the nation finds itself in a desperate situation.
So, what exactly is the power behind Iran’s secret arsenal? Is it true that the United States and its allies are already aware of these capabilities, and that this knowledge is what keeps them on edge?
The Islamic Republic of Iran is said to possess a range of formidable weapons, prepared as a strategic surprise should the United States or Israel launch further military aggression.
As is widely known, even though a ceasefire is currently in effect, tensions in the Strait of Hormuz have yet to subside.
Speaking on tvOne YouTube channel, Middle East analyst from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Khalid Al Walid, explained that first and foremost, Iran possesses extraordinary fighting spirit.
This stance makes the country even more formidable to its adversaries, as the leadership under Mojtaba Khamenei has clearly demonstrated that Iran is a powerful and major nation.
The Islamic Republic is also fully prepared to defend itself against any form of intervention — whether from the United States or Israel.
“During this ceasefire period, we have observed that Iran has fully rebuilt its entire military arsenal, and has even tested several new missiles, such as the Fattah-3, as well as the latest generation of the Khorramshahr missile,” he stated.
According to Prof. Khalid, there are also systems that Tehran has not yet disclosed to the public, as they remain highly classified.
“From a naval perspective, for example, Iran possesses sea-based missiles — including what is known as the ‘Whale’ missile — the fastest of its kind in their inventory. It is capable of destroying warships, and so far, this technology is unique to Iran alone,” he noted.
“They have also constructed underwater tunnels, ready to launch missiles at any moment’s notice,” he added.
Furthermore, Tehran holds another key leverage: a network of fiber-optic cables running beneath and across the Strait of Hormuz.
“If these lines are severed, it would severely disrupt the entire economy of the Middle East, as well as large parts of Asia and Europe. It would paralyze global communication networks and the international financial system. This is a major source of concern for many nations.”
Iran’s air defense systems are also reported to be increasingly advanced — so much so that they are reportedly difficult to track or detect by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).
This defense system is known locally as Zoubin, or the “Iron Dome”.
“Exactly. Beyond the S-400 systems previously purchased and received from Russia, Iran has independently developed its own defense technology — and to this day, the exact specifications and capabilities remain largely unknown to outsiders,” Prof. Khalid explained.
The Iranian air defense technology has already proven its effectiveness and is capable of neutralizing advanced aircraft belonging to both the US and Israel.
“For instance, what recently took place in Isfahan — the technology used there is still not fully understood or identified,” he said.
The Zoubin system is even capable of tracking and targeting US stealth aircraft.
“This capability has been carefully prepared. In fact, Iran possesses an air defense system that has never yet been deployed in combat,” Prof. Khalid revealed.
Revelations About The Ultimate Weapon
Going further, Prof. Khalid mentioned that Tehran is developing secret weapons that will only be used under extreme circumstances or in emergencies — for example, if the US were reckless enough to launch a nuclear strike.
“This refers to a type of air defense system that has been developed to be far more advanced than anything currently available — including the S-400.”
Based on reports received by Prof. Khalid, it is believed that Tehran is developing plasma weapons, which to date remain largely undetectable.
“Some analysts describe plasma weapons as having destructive effects far greater than nuclear weapons, even though they do not produce the same radioactive fallout as nuclear warheads,” he explained.
“These systems are reportedly being developed by Iran and are reserved for the most critical and vulnerable situations. It is highly likely these missiles would be deployed only as a last resort,” he added.
Prof. Khalid further elaborated that the destructive power of plasma weapons is terrifying.
“Some estimates suggest their destructive capacity could be a thousand times greater than that of nuclear weapons.”
According to him, the US is fully aware of the risks these weapons pose, which is why it previously launched attacks on locations believed to be research and testing facilities for this technology.
“This clearly indicates that such weaponry exists, even though it has never been publicly displayed. However, prior to the outbreak of recent conflicts, Iran did release an animated concept demonstrating how this plasma technology works,” he noted.
“It (plasma) is capable of melting any type of weaponry or equipment within a very short period of time. This is exactly what makes these weapons so feared — and why their potential deployment is a major concern,” he concluded.
