What will happen to Trump’s Republican Party will be known in just a few hours. But every poll says Trump is about to lose both the House and the Senate. Today, American geopolitical analyst Trita Parsi went on Norwegian professor Glenn Diesen’s show and said:
“If Trump loses, he’ll take out his frustration on Iran first.”
And that’s easy to believe. Because Tucker Carlson, a longtime friend of Trump’s, and Joe Kent, who held a post in the Trump administration, said again today:
“Trump will launch a nuclear attack on Iran.”
Trump himself said today:
“If I wanted to, I could finish Iran off in an hour. It wouldn’t take long to end this war.”
In other words, a nuclear or other major strike on Iran is a real possibility. So will Iran just sit back? Today, on the Dialogue Works show, Professor Marandi of Tehran University, a geopolitical analyst, said:
“Iran is prepared to retaliate in the event of a nuclear attack.”
Meanwhile, as I was writing this, I learned something about the talks Qatar has been running. Iran had offered Trump a proposal: it would reopen Hormuz within two days if its demands were accepted. Trump has reportedly already responded. And now Brazilian journalist Pepe Escobar says:
“Iran has rejected Trump’s response.”
In other words, Iran did not accept the proposal from imperialist America. Which means Iran is ready to face an American attack. Last night, the Americans struck Iran’s Qeshm Island. Right away, a statement came out of America:
“This was a defensive attack.”
What does that mean? Every day, Iran is hitting ships that don’t follow its rules. These are the ships of America’s slave, the bourgeois Arab sheikhs, trying to sneak through with American help, without paying Iran or getting its permission. None of them is safe in Hormuz. Iran is hitting every ship. America struck last night essentially to retaliate. So the question is:
Why did CENTCOM immediately announce that it was a defensive attack?
Professor Michael Clarke, a geopolitical analyst for Britain’s Sky News, said:
“Because the Americans are afraid that Iran might respond to this with a major strike of its own.”
That’s where things stand, and today the fate of the bourgeois Trump is being decided. The catch is that those elected today won’t take office until January 3. That means Trump has two more months. What kind of madness this maniac bourgeois gets up to around the world in those two months is what we have to watch.
But here’s something you should know. Trump has installed air defenses at Mar-a-Lago, his private residence in Palm Beach, Florida! Do you know why?
To protect himself from Iranian drones or any kind of air attack. Right now he’s still the president. In two months, his power will be much reduced. And in a year and a half, he won’t even be president. Then which air defense will protect him? Will Iran let him go?
Nothing else needed. Just ask yourself:
Why did he install air defenses at his own private residence?
Because he knows what Iran is capable of. Otherwise he wouldn’t have installed them. Having come to seize Iran’s natural resources, Trump will now spend the rest of his life in fear, wondering when Iran might harm him! Remember this: a person who does wrong knows he has done wrong.
Iran’s leaders are walking with their chests out, even in the middle of this war, because they don’t fear death. And the bourgeois Trump? He has to sleep with air defenses around his own home. That is how the rest of his life will end up.
